Vault Q&A

1.What is sEOS/sUSDT?

sEOS/sUSDT is a certificate of deposit, which represents your deposit share in the vault. It is a standard EOS token and can be freely transferred.

2. What can sEOS/sUSDT do?

The exchange rate of sEOS/sUSDT can earn deposit interest, and it is also the only proof of deposited assets.

Currently, sEOS is supported in USN and Lending.

3. What is the revenue source of the Vault protocol?

50% of Valut protocol management fee + 7.5% of Defibox protocol income + BP income from EOS token voting + Yield+ 50% - 80% of rewards + REX income. Among them, the node income and REX income of EOS token voting are the rewards that can be obtained by depositing EOS.

4. Is the contract risky?

The contract has been audited + multi-signatured, and it will be open source after the operation is stable. The Defibox has been in safe operation for three years.

5. What are the Vault revenue rules? Does it have anything to do with award.defi?

The principle is the same as the Lend rewards. The exchange rate of sEOS is exchanged back to EOS. The more rewards the award.defi account has, the more rewards will be injected into the vault, and the exchange rate of sEOS will continue to rise.

Example: When you deposit, you get 1,000sEOS for 1,000EOS, now 1sEOS is equal to 1.1, so when you withdraw it, you can exchange it for 1,100EOS, deducting 0.1% management fee is 1.1 EOS, your income is 98.9 EOS.

award.defi is the reward collection account of the vault, and the rewards will be injected into the vault in the form of a fixed percentage every 10 minutes, which can reduce the impact of fluctuations of rewards. Regarding the impact of reward fluctuations: For example, node rewards are issued at one time at a fixed time. If they are directly injected into the Vault, it will cause severe fluctuations in the exchange rate of sEOS before and after.

6.Is it 1:1 to return sEOS/sUSDT when EOS/USDT is deposited, and then 1:1 to redeem EOS/USDT?

sEOS/sUSDT will be obtained according to the current exchange rate when depositing, and EOS/USDT will be returned according to the current rate when redeeming. The exchange rate of sEOS/sUSDT will be higher and higher with the injection of rewards, and when withdrawing a lower rate than before can't happen.

7.What does the management fee refer to?

The 0.1% management fee is 0.1% of the total amount of EOS/USDT redeemed. Note: The moment you redeem sEOS/sUSDT, your sEOS/sUSDT has been transferred, and the principal and income have been locked, so there will be no income during the 5 days of unlocking.

8.After I stake sEOS to generate USN or deposit it into Lend, will the income still be there?

Yes, the Vault reward income is reflected in the increase in the exchange rate of sEOS, which locks in the income for you when you withdraw EOS, so the transfer of sEOS will not affect your deposit income. Please note that sEOS is the only proof of getting back the deposit assets, please do not transfer to others.
